Hey y'all! Hope you all had a great pre-Spring-Break week! This week's featured on-campus study spot is the Norman Hackerman Building. This building is located on the west side of campus and features multiple areas where you can hide out and study or catch up with your friends. The third floor of the NHB is definitely a go-to area, and if you're looking for a view, then the third floor is definitely the place for you. Unfortunately for non-Natural Science majors, the building is closed after 6PM. The atmosphere of the NHB is almost perfect for any activity - relaxing, crying, meeting up with friends, and studying.

Literally across the street from campus, Caffe Medici is a go-to place for a quick catch-up with friends, an afternoon of reading, or for hours of grueling homework. If you don't mind some background noise while you're working, this is the place for you. This place has an eclectic atmosphere -people who are in the zone with work, some just hanging out, and some group meetings. The coffee shop has two floors, offering some pleasant views while you're sipping on your latte procrastinating on your laptop. Caffe Medici is open from 7AM-10PM Monday through Friday and 8AM-10PM on Saturday and Sunday. If you swing by in the mornings for your daily coffee run, make sure to try out some breakfast tacos from Taco Deli or some bagels from Rockstar Bagels!
Built to be the "living room" of the University of Texas, the Texas Union is arguably one the best places to study on campus. Not only is it filled with many nooks and crannies where you can hide out and do your work, it also features a copy center and a wide variety of restaurants that you can go to for your study break. If you're a late night owl, the building is open until 3AM every day, but you might want to bring your own snack since many of the food services close before 5PM (the hours for building services can be found here). If you're looking for a place to hold your study group, this is also the place -- you can reserve a study room at this link. Whether you're looking for a place to cram for your exams or to take your post-class nap, there's a 90% chance that you can find it at the Union.
The building hours for the Texas Union until May 7th are: Mon - Fri : 7AM-3AM Sat: 10AM-3AM Sun: 12PM-3AM Hey y'all! Hope you had a great first full week back! This section of the blog is solely dedicated to cool study places on and off campus. There are so many wonderful places to study that we just can't list them all. This compilation is just a fraction of what's out there. Thanks for visiting and we hope that you find your study spot
