Hey y'all! Hope you had a great first full week back! This section of the blog is solely dedicated to cool study places on and off campus. There are so many wonderful places to study that we just can't list them all. This compilation is just a fraction of what's out there. Thanks for visiting and we hope that you find your study spot The first study spot that's going to be featured is the Life Science Library in the Tower. If you love Alice and Wonderland quotes, silence, and colorful ceilings, this is the place for you. Located on the second floor, the Life Science Library features two main reading rooms, and some smaller study rooms (of which are used as classrooms for discussion sections throughout the day). The largest reading room (to your right when you enter the library) has computers, two printers, large tables, a couple of sofas, and outlets lined on the sides of the room. The other reading room (to your left when you enter) also features large tables, but is significantly smaller.
If you really need quiet to study, try out the stacks. The entrance is right before you get to the largest reading room. It's a little maze-like in there, but there is rarely anyone in there (except during finals). If you ever get lost, just look for the yellow tape on the floor and you should be able find your way back. There are desks lined against the windows, many of which have outlets and rollie-chairs. Each desk is separated by a floor-to-ceiling metal divider. The library's hours are: Mon-Thurs, 8AM-10PM Fri, 8AM-6PM Sat, 1PM-5PM Sun, 2PM-10PM More information about the library can be found here. Happy Studying!
